It's time to play over at Magenta.
I used a salted watercolour background and layered the stamps using Delicata Silver and Distress Oxide Peeled Paint. The focal stamp was stamped in Black Archival and the leaves were coloured lightly using a watercolour pen. The final touch was a little stenciling in Distress ink. The whole panel was sprayed with Shimmer spray to make it glisten.
I used the following stamps and stencils

Beautiful post. The shimmer spray is absolutely lovely to finish off a great design. Lovely stamps, love it.xx
What a wonderful, mixed media background! Love seeing your incredible artwork, Christine. The colors are so vibrant and I can imagine the shimmer makes it more beautiful! The postage stamp framing is perfect for this and the black sets off that color beautifully!
Beautiful card full of texture and dimension, love the colours and the postage framing. xx
What a beautiful combination of everything here! I know it had to have been fun to put that background together. The salt technique takes me back. Believe it or not, there was a time I didn't use designer paper at all. I especially love the bubbles and, of course, the garlic flowers.
I already saw this on the Magenta blog - it is great! Love that wonderful background!
I love the magnificent background, Christine! The colors, the texture, and the dimension are gorgeous! I'm tempted to peel off the layers of stamping one by one to get to the salted background. :-)

Your background has depth and mystery. I love how letters emerge from it, melting in a mosaic of salt watercolors. An amazing background, perfect for these beautiful Magenta flowers
