CAS Christmas Challenge Mid Month Reminder

Hi Everyone it's time for CAS Christmas mid month reminder cards by our Guest Designer Jane (Onions and Paper) and the Design team. Our theme this month is Snowflake, so if you have any dies or stamps pull them out and come play along with us.



I have a super QCAS card for you today. I stamped my snowflake ball on white card stock in Versamark and white embossing powder. I then blended Distress inks over the image.
I used a postage stamp die for my image and popped it up on foam. I'll be making a few more of these in different colours to top up my stash of Christmas cards.

CAS Christmas Card Challenge Snowflake

Hi Everyone, it's time for CAS Christmas card challenge and this month we want to see your snowflake cards. Our Guest designer is Jane (Onions and Paper) and the design team have lots of snowflake some beauties to  share.

Onto my card 😏
While at Loll's with Susan recently on a crafting/doggy get together we played with some pearl alcohol inks and and air can. We were trying to make flowers but that's not as easy as it looks.
I used glossy black card stock and poured my drop of pearl blue AI, by the time I got the can out to spread the ink I just ended up with streaks of pearly ink. I added some alcohol and let it flow around the card. It reminded me of  Northern lights, so I added some white heat embossed snowflakes.

 I LOVE the background an will be making a couple more, it's so dramatic and great for a masculine card.

Time to work on my Christmas Cards stash

I can't believe it's already the middle of April. Time is just flying by and looking at my stash of Christmas cards I realize I'm way behind,  I find the best way to get my self going is to check out some of the challenges and play along.

This month's CAS Watercolour April Challenge is Green and Pink,.  Pink isn't a traditional Christmas colour but I think it's perfect for this pile of presents.
And STAMPlorations CAS Challenge anything goes with an optional twist of pastel colour

The background is a smooshed and tap distress inks.  Rub some distress inks into your craft pad directly from the pad and spritz with water.  Tap and smoosh your watercolour paper in the puddle of colour and let dry.  The presents are from JOFY, (I just love her Designs) I used distress inks and a zig pen to colour, I then fussy cut around.  When I fussy cut I alway use a black brush tip pen to go around the edge, it's a great way to hide the bad fussy cutting.
