Who Thought Mandala's Could Make Such Pretty Christmas Ornaents

Hi everyone, I recently received my new stamps from Magenta and now have this beautiful Mandala Ornament stamp. When I opened it the first thing that came to mind was gold watercolour paint.

I sprayed Nuance powders mixed with water to create the background, once it dried I stamped the image using Versafine Claire and used clear embossing powder to create the image. I removed some of the background colour with bleach and then watercoloured using the finetec gold and silver watercolours. this was a great idea for mass producing cards, I love the effect of the gold.

Snowy Winters Night

I've been playing with some of the Magenta new release stamps and love this family of deer wandering across the snow.

I heat embossed the image of the walking deer in white and blended distress oxides to create the sky.

I used a Posca acrylic paint pen to dot the snow in.

CAS Christmas October Mid Month Reminder

Hi everyone, it's time for CAS Christmas Card Challenge mid month reminder card.

Using glitter on a detailed image is one of my go-to techniques when I want a quick card with a bit of a sparkle.  Stamp a detailed image, cover the card with wide Sookwang tape and then dunk it in a container of glitter and burnish. How easy is that 😏

You can just see the sparkle from the glitter.

CAS Christmas Card Challenge Create a Winter Scene

It's time for CAS Christmas Card challenge and this months theme is Winter Scene.

I kept my card super CAS this month. I bought some hand made cotton rag paper when I was in the UK a few weeks ago and couldn't resist using it. The texture is so pretty.
