I went to the blog and read up on this. What a gorgeous finish, and I think you did a good job of photographing your cards because I was admiring the sheen before I even read about it. I love that heron stamp so much. I searched for somewhere in the US to buy it, but to no avail. Beautiful cards, Christine!

Beautiful cards, Christine. The shimmer that the pearlescent grounds give is so pretty. It looks like it gives a better shimmer than Magicals. x

Fabulous cards! Love the use of the pearlescent grounds - must try that next time we get together. The heron card is gorgeous with your soft watercolouring of the water and sky.

I love the gorgeous shimmer the pearlescent white grounds creates, Christine!
The watercolored image looks so peaceful and beautiful.
The stenciled ornaments are so pretty, and the edging with light brown adds warmth to the card. Hideko xx

I adore the shimmer and shine to these backgrounds Christine and the heron is a favourite of mine with lovely soft colouring, and you have made a super Christmas card using the stencilled baubles and more pretty background stencilling too. x

The background in both cards intrigued me! An amazing impression. Does the background have a shine?
