Susan is our host for this month and Lyn of Lyn's Paper Petunia is our Guest Desinger. Come on over and join the team in creating some Wintry Christmas cards.
I kept my card super CAS this month. I bought some hand made cotton rag paper when I was in the UK a few weeks ago and couldn't resist using it. The texture is so pretty.
Here's a close up of the texture of the handmade paper and the tiny red nose of the reindeer.

Love the texture of that paper, Christine! It adds even more of a natural look to your scene with that wonderful stately deer! I hope you had a wonderful trip.
As simple as it is, there's something so very artsy about your card, Christine. The paper texture is awesome and I love the stamp! I haven't done this challenge in too long. All up in the fall cards right now...
Love those distressed edges, your stamping is gorgeous...a perfect CAS card for posting to a friend or family.xx
What a clever idea to use the paper and then just make a simple scene. Love what you have done. And I am excited to get some ideas for my Christmas cards.
That paper is fabulous Christine! Love the texture and even better with the torn edges. Wonderful CAS winter scene. LOVE that little red nose! :) xx
CAS perfection. Great buy. The handmade paper provides soft subtle texture for your beautiful winter scene. The red nose is a fun touch. x
Your 'Rag Paper' is so striking, Christine! I think it works perfectly paired with your deer and wintry trees and I love the texture it provides to your CAS design! Such a fabulous artsy Christmas card! Barb xx
Great use of that handmade paper we bought in London! Love the simplicity of the scene - so perfect with just the two trees and the reindeer! And I love the tiny red nose!
Cool paper and I love how you used it, Christine! Sweet deer in the trees!!
Your winter card is amazing. The predominance of white creates a very winter feeling. I love how you created uneven edges from handmade paper. The card takes on a vintage style
