Santa is stuck in the Chimney

This cute Santa stuck in the chimney is an old High Hopes stamp which I've had for a long time, so it's great to ink it up. He's quite large so I put him on a 5 X 7 card base.

I stenciled the snow with snowy texture paste and added texture paste to Santa's Hat and Jacket (mostly to hide a red watercolour run😏)

I die cut Let It Snow through the centre of the  scene and added Nuvo glitter pen to the white snowy roof.

Card Recipe
Stamps: High Hopes
Paper:  110lb white, water colour
Ink: Versafine Clair black
Accessories: Watercolour, snowy texture paste, stencil, clear embossing powder, stamplorations Let it Snow die, Nuvo glitter pen.
Techniques: Watercolouring, die cutting ,embossing paste and stencil.

So FUN! I guess Santa had one (or TEN) too many cookies. You’ve coloured and created a beautiful snowfall scene. Love the hidden diecut sentiment. xx

Oh, he's cute! Sometimes the oldies are the best. Santa may have to twitch his nose a few extra times to get down that chimney! Love how fixing boo boos can oftentimes add fun to a card we may not have considered otherwise.

This Santa is just too fun! Love the way you painted him and added all the snow texture. Great fix with the texture paste too. How I hate when the smear happens and no clue how it happened.

This is so cute, Christine! Fantastic older stamp that you've kept ... I can see why. Great texture from your snowy paste and paste on Santa's outfit. That darn red!! :) The hidden sentiment is awesome! xx

Great idea to use the texture paste on Santa's cuffs, etc. to cover up the red run! Such a fun image of Santa stuck in the chimney - great watercolouring, snowy sky, and hidden sentiment.

What a wonderful Christmas card! I love all your texture; from your texture paste to your die cuts. Simply adorable. Santa looks great and I would never have realized there was a water color run if you hadn't said anything. Thanks for joining us at 12 Months of Christmas Link Up. Hope you'll join us again next month.
