Another Tag

Hi Everyone, thanks to all that wonderful inspiration over at Stamping with Loll, I'm adding another tag to her Twelve Tags of Christmas challenge.

For my tag I gesso'd the tag, used Lindy's magical sprays and stamped using Impression Obsession Christmas background text. I then used texture paste to add the stars, the texture paste absorbs some of the colour from the sprays and blends with the background.
My naught puppy stamp is from Gerda Steiner collection and I couldn't resist adding Dyan Reaveley Christmas sentiment with the Penny Black scroll die.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Gerda Steiner, Impression obsession, Dyan Reaveley
Paper: Coated Card Tag, Watercolour
Ink: Ranger archival black, brown
Accessories: Stencil, spray inks, gesso, Penny Black scroll die, Gerder Steiner stamp and die set.
Techniques: Tag, stenciling, watercolouring, die cuts

Super cute puppy, which I think should be on the nice list. Love your mixed media background and how the embossing paste of the stars pulls up some of the colour. Fun tag and sentiment and absolutely fabulous X

Another fun tag filled with amazing layering, Christine. LOVE the background with colourful sprays, stamping, and embossing paste. AWESOME design and texture. And what a cute puppy tugging at the ribbon on the present --- made me laugh out loud! :) Great colouring. The sentiment is perfect, especially inside the scroll. Thanks for playing along! xx

This cracked me up, such a hard decision for a puppy. Wonderful dimension on your background.

How cute is this? We know a pup is capable of doing this too. How fun. Love the textured background with all the sparkle. Haven't used texture paste over color but I may have to try this. Love this tag!
