Silhouette Caroler Tag

Here is the other Caroler from the Sizzix die. This time I used it on a much smaller tag. The tag came with a pair of pants I purchased a couple of years ago, it was way too nice to throw out so it got upcycled.
I gesso'd the tag, used crackle paste over a stencil and sprayed with Lindy's Magicals.  I pressed the edge of the tag into my Versamark pad and dipped it into some Emerald Creek embossing powder.
The caroler was die cut from chip board, versamark and a couple of layers of clear embossing powder applied to give a shiny surface,

I'm entering this for the following challenges

Card Recipe
Stamps: Ranger Sentiment
Paper: Chip board
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: Emerald creek embossing powder, clear embossing powder, detail white embossing powder. Crackle paste, Lindys magical sprays.
Techniques: Mixed media, ink sprays, embossing.

This is the ultimate in creativity, using a clothing tag. No one but you would have thought of that. This turned out beautifully, Christine and I'm still fascinated by your background. You even managed to get crackle over gesso! Amazing!

Christine, you have a beautiful set of Christmas silhouettes. Old English, very beautiful. I admire how beautifully designed this tag, I love the background for this lovely carolier. I think that the second life of this tag is much more beautiful and useful. Beautiful inspiration.
