CAS Christmas Card Challenge Santa

Hi Everyone, it's my turn to host CAS Christmas Card challenge and this month it's time to pull out your Santa Stamps. The challenge runs from now until November 24th and remember only Clean And Simple cards to be eligible to be the monthly winner or one of the outstanding entries.

Our Guest designer this month is Pam of (Expressions with Heart)

I used an old favorite from High Hopes Stamps with the 3 Santas, the sentiment is also a High hopes Stamps.  I watercoloured the images on hot press watercoluur paper, fussy cut each of the Santa heads and popped them into the small squares. The sentiment is stamped on the rectangle cut from the frame. I used foam dots to add a little dimension to the card.

I added some Nuvo crystal effect to the white on his hat and sprinkled some Martha Stewart glitter on it and then used a wink of Stella glitter pen over his hat and gloves to give him a little sparkle.

I'm also entering this for the Winter Wonderland Challenge (Colour it)

Card Recipe
Stamps: High Hopes
Paper: Hot press Watercolour paper, 110lb white card stock
Ink: Versafine Clair black ink. Ranger Archival Carnation Red (mini)
Accessories: Zig watercolours, clear embossing powder, window die, pop up foam, Wink of Stella, Nuvo crystal effects, glitter.
Techniques: Watercolouring, fussy cutting, die cutting

Not only is that stamp set so cute but if you water colored that I definitely need lessons! This one looks so fun to do too. Love the sentiment on this and always admire those who don't mind fussy cutting, something I just hate to do. This card is just plain fun!

Oh, Santa! I have the perfect stamp, new to me, so looks like it's time to color him. Such an utterly darling card, Christine! Haven't seen a High Hopes stamp in quite a while. They're all so cute! Love the sparkle, and your window die is just the ticket for this cheerful Santa trio!
