Hi everyone I'm over at Magenta with a fun acrylic paint technique for you.  Here are two cards with the same stamps. Head over and check out how you get these vibrant colours on the birds and how to watercolour over acrylic paint.

Here's a close up of the background and the vibrant colours below.

This card the bird was painted with watercolours.

I used the following stamps and stencil

Not only do I just love your colorful card I really enjoyed seeing it in progress and how you carefully photo your process. I so seldom use paint other than the gelli and this is so intriguing. Love the bold colors! What a great mixed media piece!

Wow..Stunning acrylic and watercolored vibrant bird image on your 1st card, Christine. Love your stenciled background too. Your 2nd card is very different, but still very beautiful with a more vibrant background and more neutral colored bird. I think your 1st wren is a male and your 2nd a female!

TFS your Magenta stamp and stencil products, Christine. Hugs..Nancy

These are both so gorgeous - glad I got to see them in real life. The colours and background on the first are stunning - such a vibrant bird, and such a great background stamp. Love the technique and the shades of blue in the background of the second one.

Love this wren and both techniques! The multicolored bird and the galaxy background are stunning and I love the softer coloring of the bird with the gorgeous vibrant background!

Oh, how beautiful these birds are! Amazing what you can do with acrylic paints and a circular background stencil. Really love the background you made on your blue card, too. Fun!

This bird is beautiful, but the way you put on the colors makes your cards stand out. I love how you guided the strokes of acrylic paint. I also love the background of the first card. Wonderful, like a winter sky full of falling snow

This bird image you have used on these two cards is so full of life Christine, and the technique with the acrylic and watercolour really makes the bird stand out. I think my favourite is the first. x
