Twelve tags of Christmas

Loll Thompson of Stamping with Loll is running a Twelve Tags of Christmas and Loll asked me to be a guest designer.  This was so exciting for me to be part of the Tag event.

Here is my Tag

A few weeks back I played around with nail polish marbling, fun to do but the smell of the nail polish is a little strong.  I the blue and silver colours were perfect for a Christmas theme.  I outlined the tag in black and popped up the Joy sentiment on.black foam which just adds a slight frame to the edge of the letters.
Please join in with Loll's Christmas Tag event even if you don't use tags they look great mounted on cards.

Card Recipe

Gorgeous tag Christine. The nail polish marbling is gorgeous on the silver card stock. Beautiful shaped poinsettia and leafy flourish add lots of dimension. And the popped up Joy with the black outline (and black outline of the tag in black), add a special design feature. Thanks so much for Guest Designing for my Twelve Tags of Christmas event. xx

Echoing Loll with the compliment Gorgeous! The nail polish marbling is something new to me, but wow, what fab results with the marbling. (would love to hear specifics). Really great job of using an inlay technique, and the silver & aqua colors are so icy. Also like the way you've extended the swirl die outside the edges. And just became your newest follower too! TFS & Hugs.

OMG Christine, I am so excited to see you as one of Loll's talented Guest Designs and...on your new awesome Blog!!!

I love your gorgeous nail polish marbling (worth the smell) background my friend. It is so shimmery and perfect colors for your beautiful die cut Joy and die cut poinsettia flourish. I love how your black layer behind your tag and black foam behind your sentiment add dimension and pop to your tag. TFS...Hugs, Nancy

WOW! That is one, incredibly gorgeous background using nail polish! I just had to check out the details when I saw this on day 10 of the challenge. What a gorgeous design you created for this, allowing that fabulous background to show! Love this!

The nail polish marbling doesn't smell good but it sure is pretty, Christine! I love all the die cuts and that shimmery background!

A lovely tag Christine, I was wondering how you got the sparkly smooched silver - the nail polish background is fabulous to show of your 'Joy' and die cuts

I'm so glad I got to see this in real life as it's even lovelier than it looks in the photo. Fabulous shimmer from the nail polish marbling, and the black edges set everything off perfectly.
