Stencilling your background background

I was rummaging through my stash of backgrounds and found a piece with some faux mother of pearl in blues and greens. I wanted to play along with CAS Stencil this month which is stencil over a coloured background.

I stamped the flowers directly on top of the stencilling and removed some of the colour with water and kitchen paper then watercoloured the flowers using watercoloured pencils.

I'm hoping my white frame makes this CAS enough for CAS Stencil 😓

I'm entering this for CAS Stencil

Card Recipe

This is so beautiful! I'm so glad you did thid right now. One of my DTs has stencilling for a theme soon and I had no idea how to do it. I am getting some great ideas from seeing yours. I just bought a few stencils. I didn't even own any. this should be an adventure!
