Zooming and Distress Embossing Glazes

Hi Everyone, Loll, Susan and I  had a little Zoom Meeting and played with some of the new Tim Holtz Distressed Embossing Glazes and followed Jennifer McGuire's tutorial on You tube.
I have a few of the colours now I want all of them😉
Please head over and check out
and
Posts on our mini blog hop.

Unfortunately I pressed a little too hard on my stamp and blurred the edge of the sentiment a little, but even with the oopsie I love the card.

I hope you dropped by Loll and Susan;s blog to check out their cards.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Tim Holtz, Stampers Anonymous
Paper: lb White
Ink: Distress Oxide, Versafine Claire, Versamark
Accessories: MISTI, Clear Embossing Powder
Techniques: Heat embossing, blending

LOVE this design Christine. Your leaves are gorgeous in the different colours. What embossing glaze did you use for them?? I love how the script shows through the glaze, but the leaves have this beautiful, shiny finish. So fun zooming with you and Susan. We need to do that again soon!! xx

This one turned out beautifully!! Love the colour scheme - a nice muted old-fashioned look that goes really well with the font of the sentiment you used. It was a lot of fun trying out our embossing glazes together.

I am in love with Zoom, it brings friends together. This is just lovely. The shine is awesome and I love the different colors on the leaves. I will watch the video since embossing glaze is a new thing to me.

Wow, I absolutely love this! Where did you get that awesome script stamp. This is so well done and I just love the color blending. Great choice of stamps and this design is so perfect for almost any stamps for any occasion. I’d love to case this one!

This is beautiful. I love when the sentiment is printed on the same page as the image. I unfortunately, am terrible at stamping sentiments. I gave up, finally. I almost always print on a separate paper. I am just about the messiest stamper. I get ink all over the place. Hence, why I always use digis.

What a beautiful card! Nothing wrong with the sentiment to my eyes. Love the script background, too. I've never done a zoom, but I don't have a computer in my stamp room. Heck, I don't know where I'd put it!

Great card, Christine. I love the effect of the background showing through your leaves slightly. I believe that minor imperfections in the embossing make the card all the more valuable because you can see a human hand here. This is a priceless handmade card, not machine printing.
