CAS Christmas Card Challenge - The Twelve Days of Christmas

Hi everyone it's time for CAS Christmas Card Challenge and Susan is asking us create a card based on the 12 days of Christmas. We are pleased to have Meg (Bits and Pieces) as our Guest Designer so please drop by her blog and say high..

For my card I used a die cut window, a stamp Drummer stamp which was a freebee in a magazine.
I hope you like my Twelve Drummers Drumming.
I masked the drum and then stamped the Nutcracker soldier over it, the drum stick is a little off but it still works😏. I die cut the 12 and popped the panel up to give a little dimension.

Card Recipe
Stamps: free with a Magazine
Paper: 110lb white,
Ink: Memento Black
Accessories: Die, Alcohol ink pens,
Techniques: Die cutting, Alcohol ink pen colouring

Oh you creative person! I assumed the nutcracker came with the drum - until I read that you added it - so very clever and fun - a great 12th day of Christmas design Christine!

Great nutcracker card! I collect nutcrackers. I have them from 2" tall to about 36". I have so many I had to start giving them away because I didn't have enough room to display them at Christmas.

What a fun take on this challenge and I love the framing of this! What a cool nutcracker stamp and even better that it was free. Great card and great design!

Oh this is terrific! I have that frame die and have probably only used it once so it's such a joy to see how you used it here with the lovely nutcracker and sentiment

A super idea Christine and it worked beautifully the Nutcracker soldier is adorable and looks great within that interesting frame with the different apertures with one for the number and also another for the sentiment. A beautiful card!
