Treats on Tuesday at Magenta

Hi Everyone, I'm over at Magenta, it's now published come on over and check out how I made this card.
I had a few glitches this week one was a blogger issue. I learned the hard way that at the moment once your post is published on the new version of Blogger it won't let you change the date to a future time and day. We've all hit publish when we meant to save 😏

Apologies everyone I got my post time and date mixed up and new blogger won't let me change it, the should have gone live tonight. The Magenta post will go up at midnight, I hope you drop by.

This is wonderful, I love the silvery look to the background and the coppery look to the leaves. I shall try to visit again tomorrow so I can look and see how you did this xx

So beautiful! The leaves appear to have a transparent look to them that I love.

What a beautiful sentiment and background! This is truly where you shine, Christine. There's something different every day with the new Blogger. Some good, some not so good. Lots of bugs to work out yet.

I had to wait until Magenta posted to comment because I did not want to miss your process. There is always something new and different and how I love these results. I'm also fond of your muted colors. You are always trying something different and it's a delight to see your cards!

Thanks for the step by step Christine over on the Magenta site and I love the colour combination of the frayed burlap and the speckled egg. The leafs look amazing and so is your card x.

Don't you just hate it when blogger changes... Sorry for your trouble but on a plus note this card is fabulous! I love leaves (as you know) and your creation really represents the falling leaves of Autumn

another gorgeous looking card, I actually love any tree or leaf card. well done.
What a pain with Blogger, I couldn't upload any pics at all so I reverted to the old format. I tried different ways to add pics but it would not work. very frustrating.
have a good wknd mf.
xx Karen

Love the delicate colours and those leaves are beautiful. It's all gone a bit autumnal here too, but I'm hoping it's temporary and the sun will be back before autumn really sets in.

As far as the watercolour course goes, I've learned a lot from watching a lovely man called Steve on YouTube - he calls his channel "The Mind of Watercolor" so you should be able to search on that and find him. He has a series of beginners' tutorials, but it's also just lovely (as well as educational) to watch him paint. The best of all, I think, are his "spontaneous landscapes" - mesmerising to watch. If you go to youtube and put "mind of watercolor spontaneous landscape" into the search bar, I'm pretty sure you'll find him... a nice place to start, maybe?

Gorgeous card, Christine! I love the colors and texture! Speckled Egg and Frayed Burlap are a beautiful combination, and the crumpled texture and the subtle words stamping make the fabulous background! The maples look fantastic too!

Such fabulous maple leaves Christine and I love the colours and another interesting background too. I know what you mean about the new Blogger. I kept getting double spacing and couldn't seem to fix it so I have returned to the old one for now. Just hope these sillinesses will be fixed before they withdraw the old one. x

Another background that will not leave you indifferent. I have the impression that the autumn fog has already appeared on the ground when I look at this card. A unique feeling.
