Another Salt Background

I have another Salt background to show you this time with an ocean theme.

Wet on wet watercolour, sprinkle course grain salt over it and wait for it to dry. Once dry brush off the salt and stamp. I used Versafine Clair and clear embossing powder to stamp the images.

I'm entering the following Challenges.
I hope it's CAS enough for the two CAS Challenges.

The salt technique makes an awesome ocean water background, Christine! Love the shells and that sketchy lone fish. He looks a bit like he's been through a pandemic, too! I hope you're keeping well and thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

I thought I'd write back about the Glimmer System. I really like it, but the plates are VERY expensive, in my opinion. I didn't look into the price of the plates prior to buying the system. You have to buy plates for everything you do. It has been costing me a small fortune. Before you decide look at the plates and see what you would like to have and price them. Many of the plates come with dies and that's nice. You'll be surprised how much it adds up to. They do run sales frequently.

Amazing background! I love neutral colors and the gentle clustering of colors around salt pools. I have a problem with the salty background, because most often salt dissolves creating unsightly salt stains.
