Penny Black Snowman

I just received my Penny Black Christmas stamp order, I was so excited because I fell in love with this guy.

The base is texture paste on coated card using the Tim Holtz Christmas sentiment stencil, once I applied the texture paste I sprinkled powdered inks (Lindy's stamp gang and Paper artsy infusions) and spritzed with water. I did this while the paste was wet that way the inks cling to the paste.
I no line watercoloured him using Zig pens and Ranger Antique Linen for the no line base and then fussy cut him. I added a little Nuvo sparkle to his had nose and berries.
I used some prismacolour pencils to add some definition to his nose and scarf.

I'm entering this for

What a marvelous background for this beautifully colored and colorful Snowie! The colors glow and I love the sparkle you've added with the pens. Never thought about using the lindys or infusions over the paste, but it works a treat! Lovely texture and just lots of 'happy'. Can't beat a PB image. TFS & have a great week.

Christine, I lost the scrap of paper with you and your friends blog names. I remembered yours but for the life of me can not recall hers. Could you pop over and let me know the name or drop me an email at maureenkane@telus.net.

Thanks for taking part in the September Rudolph Days Challenge.

Oh, my! Your no-line coloring on this is fantastic! The background, too. It looks like metal. Very intriguing!

I'd never think to add powders to the wet texture paste and LOVE the outcome! Wow on that background! Fabulous job coloring that snowman. Penny Black stamps can be huge and I'd hesitate to even attempt this although he sure is cute! Great card, Christine!
