I found a great winter background in my UFO box. It's a gelli print with acrylic paints and an embossing folder impression. I used blues and a gold on the plate and then pulled off the colour using a snowflake embossing folder.
The treeline was stamped in Black Versafine Clair and embossed in clear embossing powder. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches and was stamped in clear Versamark ink and embossed in pearlized navy embossing powder
Here is a close up of the gelli print.
I'm entering this for the following challenges-
Card Recipe
Stamps: Memory box tree line, Paper Smooches sentiment
Paper: 110lb white, Black, Mixed media
Ink: Versafine Clair
Accessories: clear embossing powder, acrylic paints, Hexagon die,
Techniques: Geli print, heat embossing

A beautiful geli plate print. I have my geli plate but never seem to use it why I don't know. When I see the amazing result some crafters get I must get it out...yes...a beautiful work of art and love the stamped trees.xx

Wow do I love this! That gelli print is amazing and never thought to use a plate to pull the paint off. Thanks for another original idea! I love that stamp and your fabulous hex shaped card. This has to be one of my all time favorites this year!

What a great find in your UFO Box! The gelli print sky looks fantastic with the embossing folder impression. This card reminds me of Van Gogh's Starry Night. I love it! Hideko xx
OMG Christine...Absolutely Stunning Gelli place with acrylics and dry embossed background for your stamped trees. LOVE your geometric cut card base too. Such wonderful font on your sentiment. You should keep your card for a Christmas Decoration:-) TFS my friend. Hugs...

Gorgeous gelli print background Christine. The faint design of the snowflakes is so pretty and the way the colours are, it looks like a mountain range behind your row of trees. FANTASTIC design, my friend! xx
I love this sweet treeline and the snowy background is amazing, Christine! The hexagon shaped black frame is classy and the embossed sentiment is beautiful in blue! WOW!
Gorgeous Gelli Print background, Christine! I love all the dimension it adds to your trees and your hexagon frame is just perfect!
This whole hexagon card is just lovely. The tree scene is beautiful. I don't know what gelli print is but it is stunning. The touch of gold is so elegant.
An absolutely beautiful and magical gelli print background with the subtle snowflakes. Perfectly CAS for the theme this month. I love the tree line stamp and the font of the sentiment.

What an awesome Gelli print background Christine! I need to play with mine more! A great technique with the embossing folder! Love your shaped card and pretty stamped trees! xx
I love this gorgeous card Christine!
Very beautiful. Pulling the print with an embossing folder is a new technique. Sounds so interesting, and it surely yielded a fine background. Do you just press the EF onto the plate, then the paper onto the EF? You find such great techniques!!! TFS
Hi Mary, you press the EF on the Gelli plate and then pull the print from the Gelli plate. I love this techniue. I'm sure the EF would print on paper also :)
In close-up you can see how amazing your background is. I love the pattern of colors and shapes. It is so great. Both the landscape and the shape of the card are stunning. A perfect card, Christine.
