CAS Christmas Mid Month Reminder

Hi Everyone, it's the last challenge for 2020 at CAS Christmas,Trina has asked us to use some non traditional colours for our Christmas card.

I opted for Turquoise and painted this cute little bear from Stamping Bell in a monochromatic colour palate. 

My background is a script Embossing folder which is one of my favorites (I don't know who makes it) it measures 8" X 8" so too bit for a cuttle bug or big shot unless you cut it down.

I used some glossy accent on his nose, and the berries you can't see it in the photo but it looks so cute.

Off the edge Stamping

Hi everyone,  I'm playing along with CAS Mix up and the theme is off the edge. 

I stamped my poinsettia on black and then again on white card using Versamark and Ranger Platinum embossing powder. I watercoloured the black mixed media card with Finetec pearlilsed watercolours then trimmed the edge of the black. the white I left un-coloured.

I aligned the black and white card matching the poinsettia image I adhered them together with glue. I then took a Gold Sharpie and a ruler to mark the edge in gold. This is a great way to create a faux gold layer.

Magenta Card Chain November 2020 – International

For this Magenta Card Chain you will get 1 address from me to send a handmade card. And you will receive 1 card from another participant. A handwritten greeting inside would be a great way to send some extra happiness. In other words, don`t leave the inside blank, so everyone will know who to thank.
Your card can be in any style you like, but of course we like to see Magenta stamps and stencils used.

Sign ups OPEN: between now & November 5th 2020

RECIPIENTS:
Recipients will be assigned between November 6th– 7th. After this date you will get an email or pm from me with 1 address. You will send a Magenta handmade card to this person.

SENDING:
All cards must be sent by November 15th 2020 so all will receive their card hopefully before end of November. Please bear in mind mail delivery is a bit slower as usual. If for some reason you are unable to make the deadline, please be so kind and let me know on my PM and I will let your receiver know. If you`re sending your card out of the country, please remember to send them as early as possible.

* You must be willing to send your card internationally as the receiver may reside overseas.

* You will commit to getting them mailed no later than November 15th.

* When you receive your card, take a photo and post it here on the Magenta Style - Passion Studio facebook group, so we can all see the pretty cards and the sender will know it has arrived.
