Off the edge Stamping

Hi everyone,  I'm playing along with CAS Mix up and the theme is off the edge.
I stamped my poinsettia on black and then again on white card using Versamark and Ranger Platinum embossing powder. I watercoloured the black mixed media card with Finetec pearlilsed watercolours then trimmed the edge of the black. the white I left un-coloured.

I aligned the black and white card matching the poinsettia image I adhered them together with glue. I then took a Gold Sharpie and a ruler to mark the edge in gold. This is a great way to create a faux gold layer.

I'm entering this for the following challenges-

Card Recipe
Stamps: Magenta
Paper: 110lb White, Black Mixed Media
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: Platinum Embossing Powder, Gold Sharpie, Finetec watercolours
Techniques: Heat Embossing, watercolours

These shimmery poinsettias are gorgeous on the black, Christine! I love how you've left the part of the flower on the white uncolored and the thin gold edge! Thanks for the tip about the Sharpie and thanks for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up!
