CAS Christmas Card Challenge - Pine

Hi Everyone, it's time for CAS Christmas Card Challenge this month Trina wants to see anything Pine.
Welcome
and
as our guest designers for this month.

Here is my card for the challenge, I used my oval small Gelli plate inked with Distress inks and stamped it on the card. I used my Stamp Positioner for the pine branch (Chocolate Baroque) and inked up the stamp using Tombow water colour markers adding colour and stamping until I was happy with the image. I drew in the light reflection on one side to make it look like a glass bauble, added some small clear sequins and stamped the sentiment.

As I had my Gelli plate out I inked it again and this time used a different pine cone stamp (Magenta). These days when I create a card I try and make two or three using a similar technique but each card is slightly different.

I hope you head over and join in the challenge, just remember to follow the rules to have a chance of winning or being one of the top three picks.

Card Recipe

Paper: 110lb White
Ink: Distress Inks, Versafine Clair

I love them both, Christine and it is so smart to make more than one, each one is fantastic, love the pines boughs and cones, and your coloring is fantastic!

Your oval gelli plate makes the perfect background for a CAS design Christine. Love your pine branches used for both cards. Fabulous design and great idea to make a few while you have the supplies out. :) xx

Two fantastic pine sprigs, Christine! I love the oval bauble look with the gel prints! It's a great idea to do two or more while the stamps are out!

Both cards are beautiful, Christine! I love the soft impression of the oval gelli plate stamping. The glass bauble with a light reflection is pretty, and so is the stamped pine branch. The clear sequins are wonderful sparkly touches. The first card has a playful feeling, and the second card is more classic. A wonderful variation!

Both of these are beautiful. The ornament look is such a great design and making several at a time is a time saver with everything out.

These are both perfectly CAS and beautiful, Christine! Really a cute and delicate little pine branch on your first card, and very effective how you drew in the light reflection. I noticed right away how glassy it looked. I like the sentiments on both cards, too.
