What a wonderful background for you beautifully colored bird! Love how you use bleach to bleach out your background. I also like the added interest with the use of a stencil. Time for me to dig out the salt again thanks to your inspirational card.

Amazing results with your salt on watercolour, Christine. I need to give this another try. The bird on branch with berries is so pretty. It looks so 3-D ... as if the bird is perched over top of the card. Great work, my friend. xx

I'm a hopeless nut for bird stamps and you sure know how to use them beautifully. The background looks really amazing on this, too. ps: Christine, I was sorry to hear about Dylan, but glad you caught it early enough to ward off the worst. He's just a young boy. Our Wally will be 13 this month. Hugs for you and your precious Goldens!

Thanks for describing how you made this card, Christine. I never would have thought that you used bleach to strip the color from the image you stamped on the background. I was convinced that the bird had been stamped on a different paper, cut out and glued to this beautiful salty background. Thanks for all the tips
xx
