Treats on Tuesdays at Magenta - Bloom Crescent

Hi Everyone, I'm over at Magenta with another Bloom Crescent card. This time I used Gouache and pencils to colour the flower following a Tutorial by Debby Hughes

Accessories: Pan Pastels, Pencils, Signo White Gel Pen, White Gouache, Gold Paint, Circle outline.
Techniques: Pencil colouring

Christine, you did an absolutely gorgeous job coloring with pencils on gouache! I saw that idea and wondered if it would work on white acrylic paint. Someday I'll try it. Your background is a pretty idea, too. I just love it all!

Fabulous blooms, Christine! Your delicate coloring is so beautiful!
The white edging is so effective to make the flowers and leaves look 3D, and the shimmery Star Daisy background brings out the gold color of the stamens.

I love how this card looks when the background drawing is out of focus. This gives the impression of a close-up photo. And the flowers look so amazing against the background of golden flowers.
