Green and Gold

Hi Everyone, I'm playing with a new 3D embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp  and some of my Magenta stamps.

I started by blending some distress oxide inks on a piece of card stock, when it was dry I embossed it with the Seed head embossing folder.  I lightly brushed a white ink pad over the seed head portion of the image and also added extra white acrylic paint from my posca pen to the ends, the stems and leaves were coloured with Alcohol pens and also a gold glitter pen.I randomly stamped a script (Old Script) image around the embossed area  and used crackle paste randomly through a stencil (Magenta Crazy Texture MC49). The crackle paste was spritzed with Bright Green Nuance powder mixed with water.

You can see the sparkle from the gold glitter pen in this image.

I'm  entering this for the following challenges.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Magenta
Paper: 110lb White, Black
Ink: Danger Distress Oxide, Versafine Clair
Accessories: Crackle paste, Glitter pen, 3D Embossing folder
Techniques: Dry Embossing, Blending, Stenciling

Beautiful ink blending to show this pretty embossing folder. Embossing folders are such a wonderful way to make a card design and the gold really shines through. The crackle paste gives a fun dimension.

Gorgeous texture and sparkle on this card Christine and love the 3D seed head embossing folder and the added white ink brushed over the seed heads and the little bits of white Posca pen which hightlight the ends so well, and the green alcohol marker with the added gold glitter pen highlights look so pretty on the leaves. The script and the added crackle texture through the stencil and added green sprayed to add a bit of colour is such a super idea as a finishing touch. x

So beautiful. Awesome texture and dimension. Great job colouring the intricate white seed heads and randomly stamping / stencilling on the background around the raised areas.

Uwielbiam spękany wygląd kratek i radosne okręgi tych dmuchawców. Dodanie złotego pióra brokatowego dodaje tyle blsku! Zielony kolor pozwala nam mieć nadzieję, że już wkrótce znowu będzie wiosna.
