Twofer Dogs

Hi Everyone, I wanted to join in with Darnell's Final Twofer Challenge, this month's theme is Dogs/Cats so I rummaged through my stash of dog stamps and pulled out a Colorado Craft Christmas set.
The first is a Christmas card is the stamp with a sentiment from the same set coloured with pencils.

My second is a fun card which I inked up the top portion of the stamp and then used some tape on the presents under the dog so I stamped just the dog. I then masked the dog and stamped the toadstool.
I had to use the sentiment from Pink in Dog stamp set to go with this. He looks really guilty and the Rabbit knows what he did 😏 When I stamped the dog I forgot to include his tail so had to add my own (oops)

Card Recipe
Stamps: Colorado Craft, Lavinia, Pink Ink (Sentiment) Kitties Kits (Grass)
Paper: 110lb White, Black
Ink: Versafine Clair
Accessories: Coloured Pencils
Techniques: Pencil Colouring

Two really fun Twofer cards Loll, and the dog is so cute on the pile of Christmas parcels, and what a great idea you came up with for the second using the Lavinia toadstool and hare and with the perfect sentiment for a dog that knows he's been naughty..lol. x

Eep! These are delightful, Christine! Great pencil coloring on the Christmas card and incredible imagination and execution on the second design from the awesome sediment, to the elegant toadstool, to the bunny, to the lush grass grounding! What a pro you are at masking and tail-drawing! Thank you so much for playing in our final Twofer challenge!! Hugs, Darnell

These are just the cutest cards, Christine! The stamp set as it comes is pretty darn adorable, but combined with the Lavinia mushroom scene -- over the top! The Christmas card reminds me of our Wally. He'll lay by the presents, waiting for Christmas. I think he can smell the toys.

Your Twofer cards are so beautiful and creative. I love how you used this cute dog on both cards, but you used it in such different situations. The gifts on the first card are so incredibly colorful that I still can't get my voice back!

These are fantastic, Christine! Love that pooch on top of the Christmas presents - had cats who did that, too!! And wow!, your masking is simply amazing. What a great idea to pop him on top of the toadstool! He does have a bit of a guilty look, too! Really fun cards. Thank you for joining us at the final Twofer Challenge. It's always nice to see your cards. Bev

OMG, I love these. The dog is so cute and perched on the toadstool just cracks me up along with the sentiment. He is so fun on top of the presents too. Gorgeous packages, wish mine looked that good when wrapped.
