CAS Christmas Card Challenge - where are those decorations ?

Hi Everyone, it's time for CAS Christmas Card Challenge and Cathy our host for August has asked pull out or Christmas Decorations. Lucie (Lucie G Cards) and the Design Team have some really cool cards for you to check out😊

Here is my card for the challenge. I used the Bell stencil from Sweet Poppy stencil and blended distress inks by masking off the areas with the different colours. I left the centre of the bell fairly light which is where I stamped my little cottage in the pine trees.
The bell is very open so you can stamp lots of different images inside the stencil, it's also on the larger side, my card is a 5"X7".
I used pencils to add dimension and shading to the ribbon and the bell.

Here is a close up of the little cottage stamped inside the bell.

I'm adding this to the following challenges
CAS Mix up - Stamp through the stencil

Card Recipe
Stamps: Alota rubber stamp Cottage (no longer around) Impression Obsession Sentiment
Paper: 130lb white
Ink: Distress Oxide inks, Versafine Clair Nocturn
Accessories: Blending Brushes, Low Tack Tape, Colouring Pencils
Techniques: Stenciling, Blending, Pencil colouring

WOW !! A real masterpiece of working with stencils and carcasses. Your bell looks like it's actually made of shiny metal. And I love the sweet house stamped on it, it's such a romantic picture ...

Oh, I just love this stencil (I just bought it myself!) You blended your colors so nicely on it and your cottage is so sweet stamped on the bell. You also had the perfect sentiment to go with it. Now I'll have to search my stamps and see if I have any mentioning bells! xx

After last year's bauble this is another wonderful seasonal stencil from Sweet Poppy, and love the turquoise and soft green you have used with the pretty silhouette house and trees within, and a fabulous seasonal sentiment to finish Christine. x

Your bell is fabulous, especially with the elegant ribbon, Christine! Stenciling with a 3D look is such a clever idea, and adding shades with color pencils makes the bell look even more dimensional. The soothing colors are so beautiful, and the little cottage is pretty!
