CAS Christmas Card Challenge - Christmas Tree

Hi Everyone it's time for CAS Christmas Card Challenge Colleen out host for this month is asking us to make cards with Christmas trees, and our Guest Designer this month is Steph (My Paper Corner)

.

I've used some pine trees as my Christmas tree, they are out in the forest waiting to be cut down.
The background is blended distress oxide inks, and stamped it with a Visible image background stamp using tone on tone colours.
I stamped the Carabelle Studio tree line in Versamark and used some of the Tim Holtz Embossing  Glaze so the background image would still show through. I must admit I'm loving the new Glaze embossing powders.

I used postage stamp die to frame the image.

I hope you have time to play along with some Christmas tree cards 😊

Card Recipe
Stamps: Visible Image, Carabelle Studio
Paper: 110Lb white
Ink: Versamark, Distress Oxide inks
Accessories: Die, Blending brushes,
Techniques: Blending, die cutting, heat embossing

Your tone on tone color palette is absolutely stunning, Christine! I love how you created depth by using embossing glaze for the trees in the background and how you showcased the Christmas theme words for your design! Such a beautiful Christmas card! I think it's time for me to add some glaze to my stash :) Barb xx

Christine, re comments, you don't have to always comment. As I am on many DT I post all the time so it is fine if you don't, life being happy and busy is more important. xx
