Gelli plate crusty bits meets stencil outlining

Hi Everyone, I have another print pulling the dry crusty bits off my gelli plate. the colours are very soft so I decided to do some soft stencilling using Funky Fossil shell stencil. I blended to speckled egg distress oxide inks and some worn lipstick distress ink. I outlined the stencil in white ink.

The stencil is one I've had in my stash for a long time but never used so I'm entering it into Darnell's NUBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff)

Card Recipe
Stamps: Chocolate Baroque sentiment
Paper: 100 lb White, Black, 110lb White
Ink: Ranger Archival Blac
Accessories: Gelli plate, Acrylic paint, Ranger White gel pen, Funky Fossil Stencil
Techniques: Gelli plate printing, stencilling

I admire your work with the gelly plate. I don't know how you create these reflections, but they always leave me in awe. Adding a white stroke makes the ne card lose nothing of its delicacy. Oh, this card is amazing !!

What a good idea to outline the stencil in white. Usually outlined adds very clear definition but using white has highlighted the shells but kept the lovely soft subtle feel of the card xx

You should put this immediately into a simple black frame and hang it on your wall, Christine! It really does look like an expensive work of art and not something you pulled off dry crusty bits, lol!! Great to see you yesterday! Thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
