This is a great card Christine (but I guess you knew that!) - the detail is fab and I love that thistle!
WOW! Your mixed media work is outstanding. I just love how you mix media as well as stencils and stamps to achieve the amazing cards you create. Your colors are fabulous- the muted tones are my favorites. How I’d LOVE to watch you work with these products! This is just incredible!
Absolutely beautiful - love the natural colour tones and how the thistle seems to hover in amongst the layered text and patterns.

Awesome job of layering Christine! Great muted colour combo... really helps the mica sparkle pop. How did you find the Finetecs worked?
What a wonderful background to show off the wild thistle, Christine! Love all the techniques and textures!
Sigh... look at this. You always make me feel like creating a background. Believe it or not, I used to do a lot of backgrounds like this. Then all the coloring started. I love it all, so that's fine. You do such a great job on every card, Christine!
BEAUTIFUL you always make the most special cards lovely..♥
What a beautiful background Christine! There's such depth and so much to notice in it - and I absolutely LOVE that thistle! Vicky x
Beautiful layering of stamps and stencils to create a gorgeous, organic looking background, Christine. The thistle and sentiment are beautiful. xx
I always think blue and brown look so pretty together and they do so here Christine, and a wonderful mix of background stamping, a feast for the eyes. x
Glorious mixed media card and love all the layering with the sprays, inks, crackle paste, stamping and stencilling x. Wonderful thistle too x.
Love the wonderful layers and depth of the background, Christine! I gesso'd my patterned paper last week and it worked very well. I never thought of using Fintec Metallic watercolors for stamping, but this card totally inspired me to try it. The sparkle of your thistle is so pretty!

Just beautiful. Fabulous dimension and texture. You make it look so effortless... when I know it’s not for me!
So cool, Christine, a fabulous look with all the different stamps and stencils. I did buy that alpha/number stencil and I love it. Love how you did the crackle paste. I tried the paste in my BAJ and it drew up my paper too much (very thin paper) so I am going to be saving that for cards! Wonderful colors here too. TFS - I always love to see what you are up to.
Stay safe my friend. We are trying to as well. Hugz
Thanks for your visits Christine and yes Monte is loved, he gets back what he gives or which ever way it goes...will have pics up tonight... on another post of today's additions to the facebook one..xx
A great mix of textures and I do love that thistle done in blue.
love the look, really wonderful mix of patterns and design.

It's amazing how all these forms pop out of the background. They are as if in motion, sometimes one element comes to the fore to give way, go back deeper and make room for another element. What an amazing background!

Wow! This is so interesting and beautifully done... I love how you combined everything Christine!
