Treats on Tueseday at Magenta

Hi Everyone, I'm over at Magenta with some distress oxide and embossing powder. The white embossing on a blended background was a technique that Linda (Lin's Craft Corner) showed us at the Craft retreat in May. This was certainly a wow technique and lots of fun, I hope you head over and find out what tips to the technique I've included.

This is one of the most beautiful stamps ever for a simpler masculine card. I bought it with no regrets. Love how it works with almost any background so thank you so much for the inspiration. I bought it after seeing your work with it. We all find masculine cards difficult but this stamp makes it so easy!

I love both of these cards, Christine! This stamp is at the top of my Magenta wish list! I especially love how you got very different looks by changing the color of the stamping and backgrounds.

The first card recalls from memory a summer evening at the lake. But the second card is so surreal, I have the impression that the world on this card is covered with a layer of frost and illuminated by the full sun. Such an amazing impression, Christine.

These cards are so atmospheric with their perfectly blended backgrounds and that beautiful stamp. I'm a sucker for white-embossing, so I think that one just edges in as my favourite, though I do like the more traditional black silhouette too. Thank you for your recent visit and lovely comment over at Words and Pictures.
