I'm sure we are all making and posting at the moment and the cards get simpler and simpler the closer we get to Christmas.
I use a Magazine freebie for the star wreath and the sentiment. The stars were heat embossed in white, and then the background was blended with distress oxides inks and a little water splattered over the surface. I die cute the centre of the wreath and stamped the sentiment. Super simple.
I trimmed a thin strip of black as my border.
Entering this for CAS Christmas Card Challenge Stars, don't forget you have till the 15th to enter. The DT are taking a mini break before Christmas.
I would love to hear from you.

LOVE this card Christine, the background colours are just beautiful. That's a lovely mag freebie too, looks beautiful..x
Great use of your freebies, Christine. I love the background you've created with those water splattered oxides. The colours show off your lovely heat-embossed star wreath beautifully. Great idea to have die-cut the centre and stamped your sentiment there. Love it! Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
So pretty! Love that white heat embossed star wreath. Beautiful colours blended over top Christine. The thin black strip and black sentiment add some beautiful contrast. Beautiful card! xx
Christine, your cards may have gotten more simple to make as we near Christmas, but they remain both striking and beautiful! I love the spattered oxide background you created! The resulting soft glow is an eye-catcher for sure. Whomever receives this holiday card will be happy they have a friend who is so creative! Thank you for joining us at Watercooler Wednesday!!! -Donna
Great freebie. White embossing it makes it stand out against your beautiful blended background. xx
Who doesn't love a simple card when pushed for time! Love the gorgeous blending of color on this as well as the white embossed star wreath. The very thin black strip is the perfect final touch on this.
Love that circle of stars and the colours you used for the background. The black strip really ties in the sentiment.
Love the soft blues and greens of the background! The circle of stars and black sentiment are all it needs!
Oh, yes... my cards got simpler and simpler as time went on. All have been mailed, though! You have a beautiful star wreath stamp there and it worked perfectly for a simple card. Turned out just beautiful! Sheesh, I haven't even taken time to post. I must rectify that. Busy, busy. Happy holidays, Christine!
I love the beautiful soft background you have created, Christine! It shows off that great 'freebie' stamp wonderfully! Thanks so much for joining us for our 200th Challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday this week!
This is simple and beautiful, Christine! Love the fabulous ink blending and soft water spatters! The black thin stripe is a great contrast to the soft colors!
