Eat Sleep Craft Repeated

We're all together again in my back yard and in Bonnies Craft room.
From left to right- Nancy Litrrell, Trina Pham, Susan Bridman, Loll Thompson, Me and Darnell Knauss, we were joined by Nance Salkled  and Bonnie Klass Via Skype.

We had a busy time with dirty pours, faux enamel die cuts, gamsol pencil work and so much more.

Here's one of my pieces from one of our crafting sessions. The background has been blended with distress inks, and a baby wipe was crumpled to pick up some colour.  Although by the time I added shimmer mist and crackle paste you can't actually see that.
I borrowed Susan's TCW stencil Bay leaves and used crackle paste for dimension, I then mounted the panel on black fun foam.

We all had so much fun and are hoping to do it again next year.

This is so beautiful, Christine! The visual texture made by the crumpled baby wipe adds interest to the beautifully ink-blended background. The crackle paste stenciling is fantastic!
Glad to hear (and I can tell from the photo) that everybody had a great time crafting at your place! Hideko xx

But you had great fun! Envy :-)
The background is beautiful, like the horizon spring meadow and the beautiful clear sky. I love the cracked texture of the twig, it looks stunning!

I've enjoyed hearing about this retreat from several of you lovely ladies, and at each blog, I've gotten to see some of the fabulous fun you all had. I love the technique you've done here, and gosh, that crackle through the stencil worked so well for you on this. Liked the tip to use a baby wipe to texture the surface too. My crackle efforts to date have not been great, but this inspires me to try again! Love that leaf stencil too. TFS the fun with us, and your lovely examples and cards. Hugs

Christine, Thanks for your sweet comment. YAY, your comment and one other came in, AFTER I went to the awaiting publication, and published it. However, a couple others that I did the same thing, didn't come into my email. Go figure!! Hugs.
