splattery backgound

Splatters are a great way to add a little interest to a card, without detracting from the main focal point.

The image panel is a acetate with smooshed AI background,  Tissue paper was crumpled and stuck to the background using gel medium once dry I stamped the leaf image from Magenta stamps.
The white areas are where the AI's missed and you can see the white tissue paper, I think it adds so much more dimension to the image.  I just wanted the splatters around the lower and the open edge of the card so I masked out the rest.
I stamped the Thank You using a Delicata gold ink pad and my splatters are gold spray ink.
I'm entering this for the

Your AI panel with tissue paper turned out beautifully, Christine. Gorgeous image that you've stamped on top. Great idea to mask off areas to keep the splatter contained. Beautiful card!! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
