CAS Christmas Mid Month Reminder - Silver and Gold

Hi Everyone, it's time for CAS Christmas Mid Month Reminder, and there are some beautiful Silver and Gold Christmas cards for you to check out. It's such a classically elegant combination 😃

I used a Magenta wreath Stencil and a thick Gel medium and then sprinkled Silver and Gold embossing powder over it. I waited for the gel to dry brushed away the excess powder then heat embossed. If you heat emboss before it's dry it will give you a bubbly texture and a different look.
I die cut the bow and sentiment from gold foil card stock and white foam and layered it to give a little more dimension..

Her is a close up of the heat embossed wreath and the die cuts. The Sentiment is an old retired set from Tattered Lace, so sad to see it retire it's the perfect size for A2 cards and tags.

Card Recipe
Stamps: None
Paper: 110lb White
Ink: None
Accessories: Die cuts - Sentiment Tattered lace (Retired) Bow-Penny Black, Silver Embossing Powder, Gold Embossing Powder, White Foam.
Techniques: Die cutting, Stenciling, Heat Embossing

Wow this is gorgeous, Christine! I don't think I have added the gold and silver to a gel medium...and thanks for the tip to let it dry before heating it!

What a gorgeous wreath and I love how you mixed in the silver and gold. Your card has plenty of texture and dimension but remains an easy mailer. Love that!

I love this two-tone metallic wreath, Christine! It looks fantastic on the white! You heat-embossed the wreath so crisp and clean even though it has a delicate design. The dimension of the bow and the sentiment is wonderful too! They really pop.

What a fabulous effect and how neat you were with the gel. I always seem to have a mess. Love the chunkier look of the gold and silver too. Another great idea to try.

You've managed to separate the colors from each other perfectly. A fascinating look of a gold-silver wreath. The addition of a gold cord and sentiment gave the wreath an extra dimension.
