CAS Christmas Card Challenge- May is Foliage with Berries

Hi Everyone it's time for CAS Christmas May Challenge. This month I'm the host and would love to see you play along with some berries on your foliage.
I'm so happy to see Robyn (Waterlily cards ) as our Guest Desiger this month and don't forget to check out all the amazing cards from the Design team.

Remember this is a CAS card Challenge

For my card I used one of the Lavinia berry sprigs shaped it with one of Hermine Koster's circles and simply stamped the sentiment in the centre. The berries have pearl pen to give them dimension and a few sequins to hide a couple of berry splats. Don't you hate it when the pearl pen burps and makes a big splat on your card 😝 in red of all colours.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Lavina, Stampers Anonymous Sentiment
Paper: 110lb White, Black
Ink: Ranger archival
Accessories: Viva Decor Pearl Pen (red), Sequins
Techniques: Stamping

WOW! Such a beautiful and classic CAS card! I love sequins, they are a beautiful decoration and I would never have guessed that they are hiding something :-)
My Wing of Stella has some gastric problems and it often gives me such awful shiny spots not where they should be. I thought it was my fault, but maybe it is so with adding shine that it rains wherever it wants :-)
hugs,
BożenA

I was just humming that Beatle's tune again, Christine - your blog name still makes me smile first, then smack myself in the forehead for not thinking of it first!
LOve your challenge, and your beautiful berries!

Berries do have a tendency to splat and red always make impossible splats! That's what sequins are for, my friend! Love this berry sprig and how you've fit it on the circle!

So pretty Christine. Thanks for the fun challenge. Yah for sequins to hide splats. Your spring is lovely and unique.

What a lovely berry vine on your circle Christine - (I think I just bought that Lavinia stamp and will have to print your design for inspiration!) Your red berries are lovely and great save covering some splats with the lovely white sequins! A great challenge for us this month! xx

This is so elegant and beautiful, Christine! The sprig with shiny berries is just lovely and you shaped the sprig so well (an interesting technique)!
I thought you planned to place the sequins until I read the post. They add texture and shine to the wreath and look so natural.
Thank you for hosting this great challenge!

Such a pretty design with the berries and branch following the curve of your circle. Red is the worst at trying to "fix" when there are stray bits. The sequins are perfectly placed Christine, and they add some more sparkle - bonus! Am loving this challenge, my friend! xx

Gorgeous, I love that sprig of berries and what a good idea to pair it with the circle, it works so well. Brilliant camouflage of your unwanted pen burps too xx

Beautiful sprig and berries image shaped in a Hermine Koster’s circle design. Ugh! Those annoying splats!... great idea to use the sequins to cover them up (although I would have never noticed 😉).
