CAS Christmas Mid Month Reminder

Hi Everyone, it's the middle (or should I say Ides 😏) of March and time to add some more cards to your Christmas stash. Don't forget CAS  Christmas is celebrating it's third Birthday and if you play along you may win a prize.

For my card I used a stencil and outlined it in White Signo gel pen on Kraft card. I used a pencil to colour the poinsettia and then put a layer of Wink of Stella for a little shimmer.

I stamped the sentiment in Red (Tulip) Versafine Claire and heat embossed it in clear embossing powder.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Magenta Sentiment
Paper: Kraft, Red, 110lb White
Ink: Versafine Clair (Tulip), Versamark
Accessories: Magenta Stencil, Wink of Stella
Techniques: Stencil Outlining, Pencil Colouring

That's a lot of careful coloring Christine with such a great result. The outline in white gives them great definition against the Kraft. Xx

You always add a technique to your cards that I’d have never thought of in a million years. The white pen outline looks fabulous on kraft with red coloring and so perfect for this challenge. I am in awe that you got a signo white pen to trace without skipping. I bought many of them and they seem to skip or dry out as soon as I get them home. Beautiful card.

A very impressive CAS card. A great idea for filling the stencil with a colored pencil. Adding a little bit of gloss makes the card very elegant.

This is fabulous, Christine! Outlining the pencil colored poinsettias with a white gel pen & a stencil is a fresh idea (to me). It turned out so beautifully. The shimmer of the flowers is pretty too!
