Treats on Tuesday at Magenta

Hi Everyone, I'm over at Magenta playing with some acrylic paint and coloured pencils, I hope you drop by and check out how I made this card.

I love this background piece placing the cut squares over the black card and adding the beautiful poppies it looks great Christine, and I love the dimensional flowers and seed heads added over the top. Gorgeous! x

Such a cool technique with incredible results! The beautifully coloured bright poppies are standouts against it. I wonder if this technique would work with gouache paints... I only have white acrylic paint. 🤔😂

STUNNING card Christine. I LOVE that background with the smooshes of colours - so cool! What a fabulous technique ... I need to give it a try. The poppies are amazing. They are so bright and colourful I thought you used acrylic paint until I read your description. Amazing colouring with pencils, my friend! xx
