I finally managed to get some time in my craft room. I've been on vacation for a week and my plans of doing lots of crafting just fell apart and I ended up in the garden instead. This wasn't a bad thing, my project of demolishing an old vegetable garden and installing 4 new 4X4 boxes took a lot longer than I expected. So when I did get into my craft room here's what I came up with.
I used my Gelli plate and Deli paper for the first layer, Distress Oxides for my second and Black Soot Distress ink for my third. I struggled with the frame and decided to use an old spellbinders deckled edge rectangle so I could fit a larger sentiment in.
The Deli paper gives such a soft effect, it mutes the colours slightly.
