CAS Christmas Card Challenge Mid month reminder

Hi Everyone, don't forget to head over to CAS Christmas card challenge and check out all the Joy.

Clair our Guest Designer and the rest of the Design team have some amazing cards to inspire you.

For my card I decided to pull out my colouring pencils and colour in this beautiful poinsettia from Penny Black. I die cut the JOY from the middle and mounted it on black foam so the letters would show.

Here is a close up of the letters and the pencil colouring.

Thank you for stopping by, I'd love to hear from you.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Penny Black
Paper: 110 lb white
Ink: Ranger Archival (Gray)

Beautiful spray of Christmas florals and greenery - and wonderful colouring. Love the way you used the Joy die for the sentiment - it looks great popped up like that.

This is such a pretty image and you did it justice with your gorgeous blending with pencils. I love the joy die cut backed by black foam to make it more visible. I may have to use that one since mine always seem hidden. Fantastic card!

Gorgeous card Christine! And great work with your pencil colouring of the gorgeous poinsettias and leaves. I would find it so hard to die-cut the joy after all the work of colouring, but you are brave ... and it looks AMAZING! xx
