For the first I continued the steampunk theme, the second I have more of an autumn look
The canvas was watercoloured using Vintage photo distress inks once dry I placed dry embossed it using a random letter embossing folder. i then sprayed with some Lindy's Stamp Gang mica sprays and stenciled the background with some crackle paste. the gears and clock were aged using Artisan powders. The background was stamped with Alison Bomber typed quotes and magenta circles.
The Second is leaves and crackle paste. I added more distress inks to my die cut leaves and then different crackle pastes,
yes all these are out of the same sheet of Canvas.

Oh my! I love both of these, and those gears are so dimensional against that marvelous grunge canvas. I will have to say though, the crackled autumn leaves will be my favorite! the background, is once again, so impressive with the colors, and just perfect to show off the leaf shapes. Both are just very, very impressive in all the details you added to show off the canvas and the focal items on each one. TFS
More fabulous steam punk - love those gears!! And all the details on the canvas background really add to the steam punk feel. I love the second card too - great effect from the crackle paste on the leaves!
OMG, Christine, your steam punk designs are absolutely Amazing!!! I love all your background layers on your canvas and your added gears and clock to your 1st card.
Your 2nd canvas card with distress inks layering and die cut leaves is stunning too. Wow! TFS and joining us at CAS Mix Up. Hugs..
You made the best of your canvas sheet, Christine! Another version of steampunk card is so cool and I love the crackle pasted leave card too! Both cards have rich colors and texture - amazing! Hideko xx
Both amazing cards. The canvas backgrounds are so fitting. I’m unfamiliar with crackle paste, but love the effect. Love these!
I'm still loving this canvas background, Christine! I'm loving the crackled leaves! They look so real!
Wonderful layering of the mixed media products on the first card and like a one layer (with clever layering) but lots of interest and the 3d cogs....love it. Wow to the crackle on the leaves on the second card...very eye catching and beautiful x
What lovely designs using your previously created background Christine! love the steam punk one - you should frame that and put it on your wall! and the crackle on the leaves on your 2nd card is just beautiful! Julia xx
Love your steampunk canvas card, Christine. So may layers that all work together perfectly. The gears are amazing with the antique look.

Your mixed media is off the charts! Just the products you mention make me curious to see your stash. These are just gorgeous and amazing. No clue how you come up with these techniques but you really are a master at them!
Impressive mixed media Christine, both cards just blew my mind, and so different from your original one. I am in love, hihihi! Lots of beautiful layers on your canvas, from the dry embossing, stencilling, stamping, spraying and painting. Well balanced work on such a tiny piece. Truly amazing xxx
Love both your creations Christine, steampunk is soo me. Thank you for your comment on my blog, I am hoping in not the too distant future to start doing Youtube process videos, I'll let you know if I do! xx
