Watercoloured Heart Two Cards

I don't own many heart dies but out of the few I have this is one  of my favorites. I used the die against a Distress watercolour background and then used the same die cut on a piece of saran background I made a few weeks ago.  I cut out that pretty flower and butterfly portion and lay it against a layered stamped background.

I then thought what would the die cut look like without the heart. Well I think it looks awesome.
It took the same die and trimmed off the heart to leave this pretty flower butterfly die cut.

Here's my Twofer

Wow, Christine, you've created two lovely cards and have proved that the pretty die-cut flowers and butterfly are not dependent on the heart. They really can stand alone very beautifully. Love those wonderful colours. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

Very clever use of this die, Christine! The background is beautiful with the heart and I love the colored die cut without the heart! A very different look!

You know I love this die, Christine, and I really love seeing two more ways I can use mine! They are both gorgeous! I especially love how you used it independent of the outer heart border!! Thank you so much for playing along in Twofer Card Challenge #2!! Hugs, Darnell

I really like how you used the die on the first card, and then adapted it for the 2nd one. Great job on both!

So fun to discover new ways to use such a gorgeous die! Your background really pops behind the white heart, and without the heart part, it's a great way to embellish the circle! Thanks for joining in on the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

The DI watercolour panel makes for such a rich, bold background for that delicious, crisp white, heart die cut, Christine ... and the delicate inner portion is so pretty over the subtle layered stamping! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)

Two fantastic ways to use this gorgeous die-cut Christine. Love your first card with the watercoloured background --- such beautiful colours. And great idea to cut off the outside heart to use just the inside flowers and butterflies to create a totally different design. Thanks for joining us at Twofer Card Challenge. xx

Great idea to trim out the flowers for your second card - they are such beautiful flowers! Love the layering in that second card with the great mixture of stamps behind the flowers. And the one with the heart has such beautiful colours in the background.

Two gorgeous cards, Christine! You used the beautiful die so creatively. I love your beautiful Watercoloured background and the die-cut of the salan wrap background (blue + black are so cool)! Placing the die-cut piece over the stamped image and the script letters is a fresh creative idea. Great towfer cards! Hideko xx
