Sooooo excited

I've been invited to join the CAS Watercolour DT, when Loll phoned she barely got the question out when I instantly said yes.  Once I hung up I realized watercolouring was something that doesn't come naturally, Oh well the perfect opportunity to improve 😏

June's challenge is Summer, my whole life summer to me means heading to the beach.  I was born in Swansea Wales which has some amazing beaches and now I'm lucky enough to live in Vancouver Canada and live about 15 mins drive from some great beaches.
I am happiest when I walking at low tide over the sand with my husband and the dogs, I can't imagine anything more enjoyable.

Here's my card for the June CAS Watercolour Challenge, we would love you to come along and play.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Local King "Still Life"
Paper: 110lb white, 140lb cold press watercolour
Ink:
Accessories: Simon Says stitched rectangle, Aquablender, Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers
Techniques: Direct to stamp watercolouring

I'm late in adding my comments because of being away - but better late than never to say how thrilled I am to have you join the CWCC DT! Your inaugural card is fabulous - a perfect depiction of summer and heading out to the beach to go sailing. Beautiful watercolouring of the sand and sea/sky, and great framing.
